With 31 days to the first leg of the Afcon2017 clash in Kaduna, Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has urged Nigeria to turn out en masse for the team like fans of Kano Pillars did in their season’s opener against Rangers of Enugu.
The Sani Abacha stadium was near capacity on Sunday as the former League champions rode on the support of the vociferous Masu Gida crowd to come from behind in a 2-1 win.
Kaduna, which hosts the crucial first leg is about an hour’s drive from the Ancient City houses the 16,000 capacity Ahmadu Bello. Stadium – 9000 less than the Sani Abacha Stadium.
Oliseh’s appeal comes on the heels of the daunting task to overtake Egypt who have a two point as table toppers in Group G of the qualifiers.
