Kano Pillars hosting Enyimba was the top draw fixture on Matchday 9 of the NPFL; it didn’t disappoint, but a bigger show was put on display in Lafia where Kwara United fought back twice to pick a point on the road.
John Obuh’s men trailed in the first half to a 20th minute to a Seun Sogbeso penalty. It was not until four minutes after the hour mark before the visitors come back would happen.
Stephen Alfred leveled up, for the first of his two goals on the day. He returned in the 86th minute as the visitors piled on the pressure, though they trailed 3-1 courtesy a Nojeem Olulokun brace.
In added time of regulation, Michael Ohanu beat the Wall of defenders in from of Danladi Umar to snatch a point for the strugglers.
What a game, people!
And what a day to score your first goal of the #NPFL18.
It’s Michael Ohanu (90+1′)!!!
