Siasia Gives Eagles’ Attackers Pass Mark

Date:

Former Super Eagles striker and coach, Samson Yebowei Siasia has given a pass mark to current attackers in the squad, as he says the like of Odion Jude Ighalo, Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi have what it takes to shine at the World Cup.

Siasia, though, said he will not single out any one of the lot to lead the Eagles attack at Russia 2018, as he believes cooperation and team work would be the keys to unlock any opposing defence and see the Nigerian team rain goals.

While noting that goals will come only through proper cohesion among the lot, Sia1 called for unity among all the players for any attacking formation the coach, Gernot Rohr would love to unleash on World Cup opponents.

Siasia said: “I have absolute confidence in Nigeria’s attack to deliver when they get to the World Cup. All the players playing in that position can deliver for Nigeria.

“What we should focus should be on how the team will have good coercion & a formidable team that will represent the country well is what we should be looking forward to.
