Defender Abiodun Adebayo says that his Abia Warriors side must play similarly to Wednesday opponents Kano Pillars, who he is targeting a win against in the Aiteo Cup.
The Umuahia Warriors are currently bottom of the Lagos Centre and face the former league champions today.
With the task a daunting one, Adebayo is talking of trying to take three points from the game.
“I anticipate a very tough game. We will have to be as aggressive as them or even more so,” the defender told Footballlive.ng.
“We’re aiming to win the game, to fight for it, to compete. We will not sit back nor will we speculate on anything.
“Their strength is that they are in for the fight all the way up until the end of each game.
“The Pillars players seemingly act automatically, with confidence. They are strong, aggressive and look to the opposition goal. I would like to see my team do this as well. We will win the game for sure,” he added.
