Adeboye: ‘Heartland in for an important season’

Heartland midfielder Shola Gabriel Adeboye believes that the Naze Millionaires are in for an ‘important season’ in the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League campaign.

The Naze Millionaires were bottom in the last campaign before the league was puy to end at week 24, but the midfielder is confident that his side can be more competitive this time around.
“We are starting from scratch,” he told Footballlive.ng. “We are refining details from last season and trying to get into the rhythm of competition.
“Everyone knows this is an important year for us.
“Personally, I just want to learn new things and improve every day.
“It’s going to be a very hard and very competitive season.”
The Owerri will begin their 2018/19 campaign with an away fixture against Kano Pillars on Sunday 13th January.
