Super Eagles assistant Captain Ahmed Musa has thanked the world football family, fans and his club Al Nassr for their comforting messages as he mourns the demise of his mother.
The Nigerian international who is currently on a compassionate leave from his clubs has stated that the messages received from friends and well wishers has kept the family going in such a trying time; “On behalf of my entire family, I just want to say a big thank you to everyone for your love, thoughts and prayers during this hard time.
The passing of my mum albeit unexpected, your comforting words, calls, texts, visits have been a great help to my family and I. Thank you so much once again because I do not take it for granted.”
Musa’s club Al Nassr also showed solid support to the former Kano Pillars forward by dedicating their 4 – 0 win against Ohod in the Saudi professional league on Monday to him.
Musa’s mother Sarah Moses passed away in a private hospital in Abuja on Thursday January 24, 2019 after a brief illness.
