Winger Philip Azango believes Trencin will be inspired by the first leg result when they clash against Gornik Zabrze in the Europa League qualifier, on Thursday 2 August, at the Stadium Myjava.
Azango was the hero of the day during their 1-0 win over the Polish side in the away fixture last week to earn Trencin a one-goal advantage.
A win or draw will see the Slovakian outfit advance to the next round of the competition.
“We’ve a one-goal advantage over them and what we need is either a draw or a win,” Azango told Footballlive.ng.
“As a team we have strategized well and will definitely make it. We can’t afford to bottle it up,” he added.
The game will take place at the Stadium Myjava on Thursday.
