Rangers International of Enugu goalkeeper, Nana Bonsu is raising the ante ahead of his side’s clash with CS Sfaxien of Tunisia in the CAF Confederation Cup.
After battling Sfaxien, The Flying Antelopes will take on another Tunisian side, Etoile du Sahel, but Bonsu says he and his colleagues are not scared of either team.
Rather than feel cowed by the impending double-battle with the Tunisian favourites, the Ghanaian shot-stopper says Rangers will cause upsets, as the players will give their very best against every opponent in the group.
The Coal City side enter Wednesday’s second group match, away to Sfaxien on the strength on a 2-0 win at home against Salitas of Burkina Faso in their opening game, and Bonsu says that it the right tonic they need to pull off an upset in Sfax.
Bonsu fired: “We shall do our best to ensure we qualify from the group. We are ready. I’m ready if I’m picked to keep (goal). The most important thing is to help the team to victory.
“In football, everything is possible for Rangers despite the fact that we have two strong Tunisian clubs in our group.
“We are going to play football and that is the most important thing. Yes, the group looks difficult but nothing is possible in football.”
