Date:

-Team To Embark On Trophy Presentation Tour To Selected Locations Across The State And Beyond

The contingent of Buruj Sports Academy to this year’s edition of English Super Cup arrived at  Muritala Mohammed Airport International Airport on Thursday evening aboard Turkish airline from Istanbul.

The players and officials who departed from Manchester, United Kingdom, a fortnight ago observed a stopover in the Turkish capital before embarking on the journey back home to the warm embrace of the officials of the academy led by the CEO Salaudeen Waheed, some fellow players, family members and friends after about two months in the Queensland.

Speaking shortly after the team arrived, Dr. Salaudeen Waheed disclosed that the trip was largely successful for his boys both collectively and individually saying his management will build on the lessons and benefits as they are looking forward to expand their horizon through more outings between the end of this year and early next year.

He emphasised the need to ensuring that players who register to train in the academy are given equal opportunity to showcase their potential and play their way to stardom through regular competitions both at home and abroad.

He also thanked some distinguished Nigerians both at home and abroad who contributed in no small measure to make the tour a highly rewarding experience both for his management and players.

The players are expected to embark on trophy tours where they are expected to present the double titles they won during the trip to some distinguished Nigerians, corporate organisations and government officials.
