Al Nasr SC of Oman have got their season to a flying start following an emphatic 3-0 victory away to Al Rustaq in the first league match of the 2018/2019 Oman Premier League season.
Speaking to www.footblllive.ng Oman Premier League last season’s best foreign player said, “It was a sweet victory for my team and a great way to start the season.”
The winger however felt bad not to have been able to complete the match due to an injury he picked up during the game and had to substituted. He is also now set to miss Al Nasr SC next game on 25th August as the injury would need a longer time to become healed.
The former Rangers International Attacker who described his team as a better team than last season concluded by thanking God for the three points in the first match of the season which happened to be away from home as that was certainly going to impact positively on the players confidence.
