Nigeria’s female national team, Super Falcons’ coach, Thomas Dennerby has cited unity and togetherness as major assets that have propelled them to the Africa Women Cup of Nations final in Ghana.
Speaking of his projections for Saturday’s match at Accra Sports Centre, the Swedish tactician said he is happy with the cooperation his crew has received from the players and backroom staff.
Dennerby said: “We have a very strong team, time is good for us, the more we are together the more we play together.
“I am happy that the players are all together, even the back room staff, we are bonding always as a team should.
“Everybody knows we didn’t have the best of friendlies but our aim is still there, which is to win the trophy.
“That is the target we will aim to keep on Saturday. I believe once we stick closer together we will be very successful.”
