Super Eagles and Hapoel Be’er Sheva combative midfielder John Ogu has stated that he is delighted at receiving another call up to the Super Eagles and has promised to one day tell his numerous fans why he is always delighted to play for the national team.
The cultured left-footer will line up with the likes of Semi Ajayi who is in superb form with Rotherham United in England, Wilfred Ndidi and Stoke City’s Oghenekaro Etebo.
After receiving his call up, the Super Eagles midfielder in a series of tweets expressed his happiness at being handed an invite to the team. “Arise o compatriot, Nigeria’s call Obey. I will Obey it forever”
Ogu a fan favorite for his openness on social media also promised to tell a story of why every call up excites him. “One day I will tell a story to you all on why I am always honored representing my country and why it means a lot to me celebrating every call-up.”
Ogu was also involved in Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s 2 – 0 win over Hapoel Haifa FC in the Israeli top flight league on Monday night.
