Chelsea right-wing-back, Victor Moses is staying upbeat about a revival for the Super Eagles at the World Cup, as he says the Nigerian team will rise again after Saturday’s loss against Croatia.
Although Moses admitted losing 2-0 in their first group match was a huge disappointment, he insists the Eagles should not be written off.
Moses took to social media on Sunday morning in the wake of Nigeria’s opening day loss, a game in which he went the distance at Kaliningrad Stadium.
Moses singled out the mistakes over the course of the ninety minutes among the reasons why they lost to the Balkans, but said the Eagles will storm back with Iceland at Volgograd Arena this coming Friday.
”Disappointed with the result last night but we win together and lose together and will dust ourselves down and be ready to fight again. We are working hard to put things right #SuperEagles,” Moses posted on Twitter.
