A number of backroom staff and assistant coaches have been moved round in the under-17 national team, Golden Eaglets, the female squad, Super Falcons and under-23 side, fondly called Dream Team.
As part of the swap in positions, Eaglets’ team secretary, Tayo Egbaiyelo, who was part of the cadet squad’s crew when Nigeria won the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2013 and 2015, has been deployed to the under-23 team to be headed by Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf.
His place in the Eaglets will be taken by Sirajo Hassan, who was previously with the U23s, while Falcons assistant coach, Wemimo Mathew moves to the under-20 women’s team, Falconets, along with Falcons’ team secretary, Dupe Shabu.
