Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe, attributed his team’s away draw against Abia Warriors to the hard work of his players, emphasizing their fighting spirit and perseverance throughout the game.
Lobi Stars held Abia Warriors to a 1-1 draw at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday with Fabian Omaka scoring the opener for the hosts in the 70th minute, only to be canclled out by a John Victor free-kick in the last minute of the game.
In a post-match interview, Agagbe expressed his happiness to the players for their hard work and fighting spirit.
“I’m very happy ,I give thanks to the players for the hard work,” he said in a post-match interview.
“I want to thank them for the fighting spirit and perseverance throughout the game.
“It’s shows that they are really hungry to achieve their target.”
With the draw, Lobi Stars remain at the top of the table with 43 points from 24 games, maintaining their position as contenders in the league.
