Rangers’ technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has assured the club’s supporters that the team is well-prepared to achieve its goals for the 2024/25 season.
The Flying Antelopes are currently participating in a pre-season tournament in Enugu, and Ilechukwu revealed the importance of these matches for assessing the team’s capabilities.
“Our fans should not panic about the result because it was a pre-season game,” Ilechukwu told the media. “We use the pre-season game to assess the team’s cohesion, technical, and tactical abilities, it may not be possible during the season proper.”
He reassured fans of the team’s potential for success in the upcoming season. “I assure our fans that we shall achieve all we want in the season because we have what it takes to do so.”
The reigning Nigeria Premier Football League champions will face El-Kanemi Warriors in the opening game of the new season, set to commence on Saturday, August 31.
