Fight or Fright ? Which Cote D’Ivoire Will We See ?

Date:

The Chief Executive Officer of Brila Media, Dr Larry Izamoje has said there are two possible ways to which Ivory Coast will approach Sunday’s final.

Sunday night is set to be a spectacle at the Alassane Outtara Stadium as Ivory Coast and Nigeria lock horns with the AFCON trophy on the line.

The CEO of Brila Media, Dr Larry Izamoje has highlighted that it will be a case of ‘Fight or Fright’ for the ivorian national team in the final.

He started by giving an extensive insight as to what has changed in the Ivorian setup since the group stage win for Nigeria, highlighting that Sebastian Haller and Simon Adingra have been major influences to their attack, and he further mentioned the change of a coach as well for the elephants.

Dr Izamoje was speaking in pidgin english ahead of the final. He said:

“Nobody know wetin dey happen on matchday. One team fit get red card, the whole thing don spoil. One person fit lose concentration, the whole thing don spoil, on either side. But both teams are equally matched. The Cote d’Ivoire team we beat first time is not the same as this second time”

“So, wetin go happen to Cote d’Ivoire, fight or fright? If fright comes in, it will lead to flight. That is, if he don beat you before, when you won first time again, now two words will come out, either fight or flight.  And fight na you say you want go revenge. Flight na when you’re in fear, not in flight. So which Cote d’Ivoire we will see today, that will determine how this match will go and wetin eagles go face.

If we see fighting Cote d’Ivoire, e go get as e be. But if we see Cote d’Ivoire where they in flight, then maybe e go easy. So, two sides of the analysis with that”.

South Africa have already claimed third place in the tournament by defeating DR Congo on penalties.

Now all eyes are focused on the ultimate fight between Ivory Coast and Nigeria, for Africa’s ultimate footballing prize.
