Speaking to www.footballlive.ng is the head coach of the U20 National team coach Paul Aigbogun
We are back to start preparation ahead of the Afcon 2019. We have resume the first phase of camping which the camp will commence today .
We are out to critically scrutinize players we did not really have the chance to watch the new players coming to see if they can add value to the team.
Meanwhile, regarding the nature of the screening he said, It will not be an open screening per say, where anyone can just come in, it has to be those players we have seen , know , watched and invited too.
Any players we have identified from our scouting process are those being invited , knowing fully well we have gone around watching different players, it is now for such players to showcase what they can do in the field of play.
After the first phase of the camping session, those players who will eventually qualify to make the team will be invited for the second phase of camping which will have a combination of both the new set and the old set in other to have a solid team.
He concluded by saying the first training session will kick off today evening.
