Francisca Ordega, Asisat Oshoala Roast Ngozi Okobi on IG

Date:

Ngozi Okobi is not known for her goal scoring prowess and it is not on record she’s ever scored with the head… well all that was until last weekend.

Okobi scored her first goal in 11 months for Swedish Premier Division club, Eskilstuna United, from a corner kick.

The midfielder delivered a powerful header to beat the goal keeper and earn her side a 1-0 victory over Linköping; A goal that equally impressed the scorer.

So much so she tagged her Super Falcons teammate Francisca Ordega, but the response from Ordega and – the uninvited – Asisat Oshoala summed up the rarity of the occasion.

Okobi herself captioned the video she posted Instagram thus:

Thanks to God almighty.
@eskilstunaunited
@petrajohansson7 What a great delivery
@ordegafrancisca17 did you see that header.

The question prompted Ordega’s response and it was certainly hilarious.

Ok my observation that was a clearance u never mean to head it in…even my cutie Amama can head that ball into the net….but anyway sha imma give you some kudos cos that head never score before so something is cooking ????????????????you try small 5/10..????????

Asisat Oshoala then joined the conversation with the most rhetorical dig at Okobi:

Lmao…..Okobi score wit head ????????????????????????
