The former Kano pillars midfielder was exempted from the Squad to hit Cameroon for the first leg of the CAF Champions League due to a slight injury.
Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng is the Lobi stars new midfielder Samuel Mathias.
Yes,  i could not make it with my team to Cameroon for the their first game of the CAF champions League due a slight injury i sustained during the Super Cup competition against Rangers Int’l last week.
It just a slight muscle tear which is not really a serious as such, i have been picking up recovery so far with the help our medical crew, which i believe in the shorts time possible  i will be fit to return back into the field play.
Actually, appreciate God for a good start and i believe what falls in the way to be yours will certainly be yours no matter the little challenges you might encounter along the line.
When asked what is it like in his new home Lobi stars.
The former El-kanemi player said ” honestly in all my tours in the past few years of my professional career,  i have never being with a team with couple of players like this so matured and highly experience as well.
Honestly i see Lobi stars,  going far as to winning the CAF champions league with these set of players with extremel y vast experiences.
Regarding our first match to be played  against  UMS de Loum in Cameroon i will say in confidence Lobi stars of Markudi will certainly beat UMS de Loum , for me i see a 2-0 victory for Lobi stars .
