Idowu: Rostov a direct rival

Date:

Lokomotiv Moscow left back Brian Idowu considers today’s clash with FC Rostov an important barometer of his side’s capabilities.

The two sides who meet in Russian Premier League week 11 match at the RZD Arena are second and third respectively on the log.
“It’s an important game because Rostov is a team that are going to be up there, like us,” Brian Idowu told Footballlive.ng.
“It will be a measure of our capacities, a difficult game against a team of standing, and that’s what makes it interesting.
“Rostov are a very organised team defensively and they have top players able to play between the lines. They have balance between attack and defence and the fact they have been working together for longer shows.”
“The team is working well, we have a good dynamic these days. It will be a hotly contested game.”
