It was a difficult match but we carried the day -Alexandra Iwobi

Date:

Super Eagles midfielder Alexandra Iwobi who was in action for his team in the match against Huddersfield, where Arsenal won by a lone goal slim victory .

Iwobi who Spoke with sky sport an interview monitored by footballlive.ng. said.

It was actually a difficult match knowing fully well that the team actually created a defence lock down, which made it difficult for us to create opening for goals.

We were fortunate enough that at the end of the day, as at 82 minutes of play we got the only goal that gave us the three points need in the match.

Most importantly our aim is that, we need to keep pushing to ensure we actually finish the season as top three.

Eventually we drew our last match against Manchester United, which we new very well can not afford to draw or lose at home .

I am excited that after a long time of barren draw, we finally got a breakthrough goal, which is our reward for putting up a good fight against Huddersfield.

The young midfielder concluded saying” i want to a big thank you the fans who keep faith and relentless support with team even when the goals was not forth coming. But most importantly three points was a well a deserved points.”
