Kabiru Dogo, the technical adviser of Kwara United, has expressed his satisfaction with his team’s commanding 4-1 victory over Rovers FC in the President Federation Cup Round of 64 tie.
The huge win marked the first occasion this season where Kwara United achieved such a significant scoreline in a match. Emmanuel Ogbole’s hat-trick, complemented by Godwin Oshagbemi’s goal, propelled Kwara United to a convincing win.
In a post-match interview, Dogo emphasized his team’s commitment to their mission in the Federation Cup and pledged not to underestimate any opponent in the competition.
“I am happy we took our chances,” he remarked. “That was the first time we scored four goals in a match this season. We have a mission in the Federation Cup, and we will take each match as it comes. We wouldn’t underrate any opponent. Every game is a final in this competition.”
