Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo emerged winner in the battle of the brothers in the Spanish League as Leganes emerged one-nil winner over Moses Simon’s Levante o Monday night.
Both players started for their respective clubs but it was Omeruo who played the entire duration of the game while Moses was involved for 75 minutes before being substituted for Roger Marti.
The home side took the lead in the 13th minute of the encounter through Spanish midfielder Oscar Rodriguez and it took Kenneth Omeru and the defensive set up to wade off the offensive onslaught from the Levante team who had a total of six shots on target also commanding the bulk of the possession.
With the win, Leganes has now moved to the 11th position on the log just one point behind 10th placed Eibar. Moses Simon’s Levante is on the 15th position.
