Nigeria’s opponents for Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations have gone back on their words once again, as The Mediterranean Knights have returned to their initial plan of arriving in Nigeria on Friday.
In what appears to be another reflection of the confusion that has hit Libya in recent time, footballlive.ng gathered that the AFCON 2019 qualifiers Group E leaders have now opted to fly into Nigeria on Friday.
This against Thursday that was announced for their arrival at the start of this week, when Libya Football Federation (LFF) specifically wrote to Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) about their plans.
However, another changed of plans was revealed on Thursday, as the LFF stated that their delegation will arrive Ibom International Airport, Uyo aboard a chartered aircraft on Friday morning.
