A respected authority in football refereeing in Nigeria and seasoned referee assessor who FIFA and CAF rely on for match duties, Mazi Linus Mba, is among members of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, leaving the country this weekend for continental engagements.
Others are the trio of Col. Fawole of the Nigeria Army, Sani Mohammed both from the Kaduna Council and Olayinka Olajide, from the Lagos Council who are all FIFA Badged Beach Soccer Referees.
Mba is set to assess the Angolan referees scheduled to handle the African Nations Cup qualifier between Equatorial Guinea and Sudan while Col. Fawole is leading the other FIFA badged Beach Soccer referees to handle the CAF Beach Soccer Qualifier between Uganda vs Ivory Coast on Sunday September 9th 2018 in Uganda.
Former Cameroonian International keeper, Joseph Antoine Bell is the Match Commissioner in Equatorial Guinea while Linus Mba would keep an eye on the performances of Center Referee, Helder Carvalho, Assistant Referee 1 and 2, Wilson Ntyamba and Ivanildo Lopes respectively.
NRA president, Otunba Tade Azeez used the opportunity of to wish all the officials a safe trip and best of luck in their various engagement.
