Enyimba forward, Chijioke Mbaoma has expressed his confidence in the golden boot race currently ongoing in the league. Mbaoma is currently joint top of the standings with 12, alongside Pleateau United’s Albert Hilary.
Mbaoma said he is confident in himself, and does not feel under any pressure to deliver. He then expressed faith in his teammates and said he can win the golden boot.
Mbaoma said:
“It doesn’t put me under pressure. So, i’m confident in myself and I know what I want. And I’m not going to get it but i work and my belief and my team support so I’m going to perform”.
Quizzed about Enyimba’s title chances, he also said there are chances and the team are working towards it. He said:
“We have a lot of chances to retain our trophy. And we are working towards that to make sure that we get to our normal place we are supposed to be”
