Abia Warriors striker, Sunday Megwo has expressed his optimism that the club can make it consecutive wins on sunday. Abia Warriors recently defeated Gombe United 3-1, to help themselves to 13th place as the season slowly rounds up.
Megwo said that the upcoming game against Akwa United is a game the players need, and it is very possible to get consecutive wins.
“Yes, it’s very possible because that’s a game we, we the players need. So it’s very, very possible for us to make it two out of two”, said the forward.
He added that the last win serves as a motivation and the players are pumped to do well.
“It will motivate, because that is our second win of the season and it was a huge one for us, 3-1, playing against Gombe. So I know that the players are, with that result, they will, we are motivated with that result. I know we will do well”, added Megwo.
