Vitoria Setubal of Portugal returnee, Mikel Ndubuisi Agu is set to miss out on action with his team this weekend, as they are set to play against his parent club, FC Porto.
Agu is back on loan for a second stint at Setubal from Porto and, with both clubs set to tango in the next Portuguese league fixture on Saturday, the rules forbid players lining out against an outfit that still owns their original contract.
Consequently, Agu will not have the opportunity of adding to the euphoria of his first match back at Setubal, in which he starred for them last weekend in a 3-3 draw against CD Nacional.
Agu, who featured 25 times in his first stint with Setubal and helped them to a 12th place finish in the 2016/17 season, said he is expecting a better impact in the team this time.
After his first game back, Agu said he was glad to feature in the Group B Taca de Liga clash and says he is expecting better results from his team as the days go by.
Agu declared gleefully: “It’s a great feeling to be back on the pitch; Setubal is like home for me because I have been here before so I was happy with the result of the game. Hopefully we can build on the result and do well in our league game next Saturday.”
