Tianjin Teda of China midfielder, John Mikel Obi is signing praises for the environment, quality of facilities and atmosphere at the Super Eagles’ new camp in Austria, with a verdict that the Avita Resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf is conducive for their World Cup plans.
The Eagles’ captain said and his teammates are excited to be at the base in Austria for the team’s final camping programme before the World Cup finals.
Mikel, who is going to his second World Cup, after debuting at Brazil 2014, but first as Nigeria’s captain, said: “This place makes a whole lot of sense. I am truly impressed.
“The Nigeria Football Federation has improved so many things around the team, in terms of organization and logistics. Whoever chose this place paid attention to details. We are happy here.”
