Mikel has No Regrets over FC Porto decision

Date:

Nigerian midfielder Mikel Agu says his decision to dump FC Porto for Vitoria Setubal has been justified following his recall to the Super Eagles for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against South Africa.

Agu returned to Vitoria Setubal, two years after his previous loan spell at the club and he told Brila.net that he feels loved and appreciated at the club.

“I personally decided to leave Porto so that I can get more minutes and see how far it has got me; I’m back in the national team.

“When I missed the world cup it was personally disappointing for me, but I have another chance here to convince the Coach and it’s a huge privilege to be back in the team,” said the midfielder.
