Former Super Eagles and Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has undergone successful surgery in the United Kingdom.
The Nigerian football legend announced the news on his Instagram story on Saturday, June 22, sharing photos taken before and after the operation.
Although the 37-year-old did not specify the nature of the surgery or the reason for it, he posted two pictures: one taken before the operation with the caption “Pre-op, let’s go,” and another post-surgery while lying in a hospital bed, captioned “All good, #PostOp.”
He also shared a video of himself walking on crutches.
