Moses Aduku Celebrates CAF Women’s Champions League Qualification, Aims for Continental Glory

Date:

Edo Queens head coach has expressed his immense excitement after leading his team to secure a spot in the CAF Women’s Champions League following their triumph in the NWFL and the WAFU Zone B tournament. The coach, whose team clinched the Champions League ticket, shared the joy and celebration surrounding the achievement.

“I’m very much excited and everywhere is bubbling. Celebration everywhere,” the coach said, reflecting on the team’s success.

While enjoying the moment, the coach also revealed his ambition to go beyond mere participation in the Champions League. He emphasized his desire to see Edo Queens compete for the ultimate prize, which he believes would not only bring glory to the team but also increase the number of slots available to Nigerian clubs in future continental competitions.

“Honestly, that’s my desire because I’ve not been happy that we’ve been struggling to win and we’ve not been able to,” he stated. “Every team that goes there to represent Nigeria is all about Nigeria’s affairs. So right now, my desire, my prayer is that we will do our best to make sure that we don’t go into participating alone, but to compete and try to win the trophy.”
