Abia Warriors football club of Umuahia has confirmed the release of its striker Ndifreke Effiong to Akwa United of Uyo on a season long loan.
In a statement, Abia Warriors management said Ndifreke, who has been with the Warriors for the past five seasons is joining his hometown club on his request and wished him well.
The former Abia Warriors player will be starting a new life in his home state club Akwa United this new season .
