Following his victory for another four year tenure at the election into the Nigerian Football Federation held in Katsina, the president of the Nigerian Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has continued to receive support and congratulatory messages from people from all walk of life.
Fellow contestants Alhaji Aminu Maigari and Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, praised the process and wish Pinnick all the best for the future as he seeks to take Nigerian football to the next level.
Maigairi, who was Pinnick’s predecessor said, “Aminu Maigari: “The vote has come and gone, and football is the winner. The focus is football development. I bear no grudge and I must say that I am indeed delighted by the strides that Amaju Pinnick has taken since taking over from me four years ago. He is like a son and I am proud of him.”
In same vein former secretary general of the NFF, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi congratulated Pinnick and pledged his support in any capacity.
Pinnick earlier polled 32 votes, Maigari got 8 votes, while Ogunjobi got 2 votes.
