NFF To Pay Falcons’ Bonuses After World Cup

Date:

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have appealed to players in the female national team, Super Falcons to exercise patience and wait for their winning bonuses from home and away victories against Gambia until after the FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Fellers from The Glasshouse indicate that each of the players are entitled to $2,000 for a 1-0 win away and 6-0 spanking of Gambia in Lagos during the African Women’s Nations Cup final qualifier, but they cannot be paid immediately because the NFF has run out of cash.

The Falcons’ home-based players were, however, paid N50,000 camp allowances each, while those from overseas got return tickets, but they will all have to wait till after Russia 2018 before collecting their reward for qualifying for AWCON 2018 in Ghana.
