Niger Tornadoes Stadium Approved for NPFL Matches

Date:

Niger Tornadoes’ Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium in Minna has been approved to host matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The stadium serves as the home ground for NPFL side, who last played there in 2022.

The team had relocated to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna last season while the Minna stadium underwent renovations.

Upgrades to the playing surface, dressing rooms, toilets, and TV camera stands have now been completed, allowing Niger Tornadoes to return.

Nigeria Tornadoes will face Nasarawa United in their next NPFL  league game at the stadium.
