Nigeria defender Stephen Eze played his 22nd game for Lokomotiv Plovdiv in their 3-0 win over Vitosha Bistritsa on Sunday.
The 25-year-old lasted the entire duration of the away win in the Bulgarian First Professional League game.
Since his January arrival from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club Kano Pillars, Eze has risen to become one of the best central defenders in the Bulgarian top flight.
His performance in the game at Victoria’s Bistritsa waas deemed satisfactory by coach Bruno Akrapović.
The ex FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars player will be hoping his form helps his team qualify for the Championship play offs.
Unlike Eze, former Flying Eagles left back Mustapha Ibrahim has been on the periphery of Lokomotiv Plovdiv squad.
