Nigerian Players Abroad: Emueje nets seven goals in Belarus, Orji on the scoresheet again, Ikidi on show in Sweden

It was a decent weekend for Nigerian players who got on the scoresheet while in action for their respective club sides.

 

Emueje Oghiabekhva netted seven goals in Belarus, Ebere Orji continued with her good form in Sweden while Faith Michael was massive for Pitea.

Norway

We start from Norway where Rasheedat Ajibade put in a massive performance for Alvadnes
in their 4-0 win over Stabæk.

She came on as a 70th minute substitute for Giovana at the Avaldsnes Idrettssenter.

Super Falcons star Ebere Ngozi was a second-half substitute for Arna-Bjørnar who were beaten 3-1 at home by Kolbotn.

Belarus

At the Stadion FK Minsk, home team FK Minsk completely annihilated Botsor 17-0.

Bulky striker Emueje Oghiabekhva scored seven goals and provided three assists in the game.

The 29-year-old has netted nine goals so far in the 2019 Belarus Premier League season.

Sweden

Defender Faith Michael logged 90 minutes for Pitea who edged Kristianstad 2-1 in the Swedish Dammalsveskan.

Falcons midfielder Rita Chikwelu continued with her fine form with an assist for the visitors who lost to Michael’s Pitea.

Debutant Anam Imo played 17 minutes of Rosengård’s 3-2 lost to Limhamn Bunkeflo. She came on for Germany legend Anja Mittag.

Ogonna Chukwudi played the whole 90 minutes as Djurgården were beaten 3-1 by Göteborg.

Eskilstuna United lost 1-0 to Vittsjö. The duo of Halimatu Ayinde and Ngozi Okobi were second half substitutes for United.

Going a division lower, Super Falcons striker Ebere Orji was massive for Umea and scored their a goal in their 4-0 win away at Asurum to continue their winning streak.

Energetic midfielder Christy Ucheibe couldn’t help Assi who lost 3-1 to Hammarby at the BillerudKorsnäs Arena. The former Nasarawa Amazons ball winner replaced Moa Öhman in the 74th minute.
