“I want to prove my critics wrong this season by winning the league with Kano Pillars. We are on the right track, and by God’s grace, we want to be part of the three teams that will clinch the spots to represent Nigeria on continent next season and as well the NPFL ‘Super Six’ in our group”
“I am focused to win the league Insha Allah with Kano Pillars this season, I lost out narrowly last season where we were fourth on the log table last season before the league came to an end. We lost in the final of the Aiteo Cup as well.
“I joined the team when the league had already started, I am happy we are back on track, we have started achieving results, we’ve won away from home and picked vital points”
Coach Musa added that, he wants to win his next game at away against Akwa united for the teeming fans who are always behind the team.
“Our focus for now is the crucial match against Akwa united Warriors, it is more like a battle this weekend, having drew the first stanza in kano ,we will be out to give our fans something to cheer with this weekend by winning the match, away from home. Akwa united is a very Good side with good players no doubt, but we can beat them in their home soil. They drew in Kano in the first round of the NPFL.
“the match after, which is going to be against former league champions Plateau United, it’s going to be more of a double home game for us this time. “If we can pick the six points from both matches we are close to our aspiration for the season.
