Defender Akpojuvwevwo Bright celebrated a “deserved Remo Stars victory that we were missing and tried to achieve in every possible way.”
The Sky Blue Stars did well to pick a 2-1 victory over the Harmony Boys in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week nine fixture with a brace from Ogwuche Mathias settling the game.
“This was a deserved Remo Stars victory that we were missing,” said Akpojuvwevwo to Footballlive.ng after the final whistle.
“We tried to achieve it in every possible way, then at the end Ogwuche put the ball in the net.
“We really needed this win and this performance. Now we have to continue improving. It feels like a weight has been taken off our shoulders.”
