FK Tirana of Albania attacker, Nnamdi Vincent Oduamadi (Robinho) has expressed delight with his return to action after five months out with a myriad of debilitating issues.
Footballlive.ng reports that ‘Odu’ has been plagued with injuries, fitness issues, off-field hurdles and contractual matters, all of which combined to keep him on the sdielines, but the youngster is relieved that he got back into action at the weekend.
The former AC Milan of Italy protege, who became the first Nigerian to score a hat-trick in a senior FIFA competition, when he netted three against Tahiti at the 2013 Confederation Cup in Brazil, made his comeback in a friendly against city mates, Dinamo Tirana on Saturday.
Oduamadi played a key role in helping his side eke out a 2-0 win, as they recovered from the previous weekend’s 1-0 loss away to KS Kastrioti Krujë in the Kategoria Superiore League.
In response to his return, ‘Slim’ took to social media to celebrate and highlight his key moments of the match with photographs.
Oduamadi posted: “And it’s gets beautiful , first game after 5 months break , we move onto more games and greater heights 🙌🏻. #Backandbetter #BornReady. #Slim.”
