Abia Warriors coach, Bethel Oji has appraised his strategy and the execution of his players in their latest win. The club claimed a 2-0 win against Rivers United, as Rivers United still bid to equalize their number of fixtures along with the rest of the league.
Oji highlighted that there were a lot of training sessions, and developments have been made for the game that was executed as the team claimed all three points, and are now 10th on the league standings with 44 points.
In his exact words, he said:
“Well I give God the glory because of the hard work the team had and we tried to perfect our strategy, but it worked today. As a coach, you keep training every day. Any of your players that has a shortcoming, you try to develop him in an area that is going down so that he’ll get improved. So, playing better is normal because we did a lot of ball work, we do movement with the ball, without the ball, off the ball, all the assist, I believe, it paid off”
