Tottenham Hotspur’s youth team goalkeeper, Joshua Oluwayemi was in brilliant form once again, and put up a tremendous performance to help his side win the 2018 Euro Youth Cup in Saint Wendel, Germany.
Oluwayemi is now earning rave reviews, following his top notch performance on Sunday, as he helped Spurs beat Galatasaray in the final.
The 17-year-old Oluwayemi, who has represented England at U15 and U16 levels, has won accolades from his head coach, Matt Wells.
Wells revealed he was impressed by Oluwayemi’s performance, which he said was pivotal to Spurs winning the tournament.
”It’s been a very good tournament. Josh Oluwayemi in goal also did well in that respect – both of those were a credit to the group.
”His attitude and mentality was superb and that was one of the catalysts for us winning the competition,” Swells gloated gleefully.
