Former Nigerian International, Bright Omokaro has compared the national team setup of the older generation to the new generation.
The 59-year-old explained that there was hunger and ‘cohesion’ in the setup back in the day.
“I would say there was a very big cooperation there, there was a very big cohesion. That time when you are invited you have to come and tell us you can do it’, Omokaro said
He further added that the commitment was also commendable, reminiscing some older players from his time and their dedication to training.
“Even when all the Fashanu and all the rest of them were invited when we were there, they must come and train. They must show us that they want to play. And we always have that time to train together before the match proper. So, there was just commitment at that time”, he added
