Emmanuel Chukwuka Onuwa has urged his MFM FC teammates to pick up a win against Plateau United next mid week or risk falling behind in the coming weeks.
The Olukoya Boys welcome their Jos opponents to the Agege Stadium on Wednesday 18th July in the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 25.
However, with 10 wins, 3 draws and 11 losses to their name, midfielder Onuwa is placing weight on the clash with the Peace Boys.
“If we win against Plateau United it would be great, but if not, we could end up a little short, seeing that we have a complicated schedule, some tough games coming up,” he warned to Footballlive.ng.
“We have to be calm, keep working, go day to day and try to get as much as possible from each confrontation as possible.”
The Peace Boys arrive in buoyant mood, as they are fifth on the log.
“In those games, every team knows that the demand is very high and that you have to give 110 per cent. I do not know if Plateau United will have that same intensity against us.
“They are a dangerous team and they are quick.”
