Ahead of the Super Falcons clash against Equatorial Guinea today the Super Falcons Head Coach Thomas Dennerby specifically said the defending champions will do everything possible to secure one of the two semi final spots in the AWCON competition .
It could be recalled that Equatorial Guinea so far is the team with the highest conceded goals ever since from the beginning of the AWCON competition.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference held at the Cape Coast stadium, Dennerby said the team will work harder to defeat their opponent .
We are not effecting much changes today,we are just going to work as we have done from previously .
We will definitely try our best to secure the position as one of the two teams in Group B that will qualify for the semi finals of the competition .
Regarding our match against Equatorial Guinea , we have our strategies all readily mapped out, all we need to do is to stick to our strategic plan for the game.
After the first game we lost to the Banyana Banyana of South Africa, we went back to the drawing board and worked out ways of improving our tactics, which we all saw the result in the last match against Zambia .
The Swedish coach further said he was happy the team created a lot of chances against Zambia, stating that they will keep working on improving the goal conversion rate ,i assure you there will certainly be a change today.
Everybody that watched our last game we won, you could see we a lot of good goal chances and technique were lost out.
This time we will not fail to hit target, as we have worked on that aspect in our training session held.
I hope we have our best performance today and i hope we keep improving ahead of the semi finals the white coach concluded.
