Rangers International of Enugu media officer, Norbert Okolie has admitted that they do not know much about Salitas of Burkina, which they face Sunday in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Footballlive.ng, however, learnt further that The Flying Antelopes have already stepped up their efforts in training for the match and Okolie says they will give everything to get victory from their first group fixture.
Okolie added that the registration of five new players by the squad will also go a long way to adding more pep into Rangers’ quality, which he believes will make the difference at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
However, Rangers’ technical director, Christian Chukwu parried worries over being in the dark about Salitas, as the former national team captain and coach says the players only have to give their best during the match.
‘Chairman’ Chukwu added that Flying Antelopes should just be 100 per cent focused and the task ahead and believes immense backing by their supporters will give them victory in all their upcoming matches.
Chukwu boasted: “Rangers are delighted to have come this far in the CAF Confederation Cup and we are not scared of any team in our group.
“We approach every game with all seriousness. The coaches monitor each team and we can over run them. There is no cause for alarm.”
