Former Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan and ex-Kano Pillars midfielder, Azeez Shobowale has declared that he is seeking a new challenge and fresh lease of life to his career at Al-Ain of Saudi Arabia.
Speaking against the backdrop of his sealed deal, which takes him to the oil rich Middle East country from Al-Hilal of Sudan, Showbowale said it is a new terrain from which he hopes to get a better lift to his status in life on and off the pitch.
However, while hoping to gain more leverage in Saudi Arabia, Shobowale insists he did not have any difficulties playing in Sudan, where he says the league is well organised and highly professional.
Shobowale stated: “Sudan is not as big as Nigeria but the league there is well run, there is a good structure on ground and a sense of professionalism by the clubs and their FA.
“This is new environment for me, a new challenge, a new club and hopefully I will justify why I was signed from the Sudanese league.”
