Chin Up! That was the message from Super Falcons midfielder, Ngozi Okobi after the team’s 8-0 bashing at the hands of France’s Les Bleues in an international friendly on Friday.
Nigeria returned to proper football action at international level after a long absence, since the African Women’s Cup of Nations triumph in 2016 – albeit a team had played in the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nation.
On social media, Okobi showed support to her teammates on Saturday, expressing belief despite the heavy defeat.
